Herb and spice kit "Hot mulled wine"
Hot mulled wine. A similar drink being a mixture of wine and flavoring herbs has been already known in ancient Rome while the "wine of happiness" appeared in the Middle Ages in Germany. Traditionally, hot mulled wine includes red wine and flavoring herbs: cinnamon, clove, star anise, black pepper and others.
The kit of spices "Magarich" includes star anise, clove, dried currant, nutmeg, bayberry, orange peel.
How too cook hot mulled wine: Pour a bottle of red wine into a pot, crack nutmeg and pour the spices from one portion package. To better unveil the beverage flavour, add a spoon of sugar or honey, apple, pear, orange or lemon slices. Bring to a boil but don't boil further. Leave it for 10-15 minutes.
